Dog URGENT!! Candy needs a home...
Candy is a great dog and very loving. She is very happy going for a walk or just chillin in the yard or house. She loves to be around us and be with us, go for rides in the truck and play with all of the kids (my son and his three cousins are 8 yrs old or younger). She is very gentle and has never bitten or even attempted to bite anyone. We are able to give her antibiotics and pain medicine with minimal fuss. We can also feed her food by hand and she will take the food very gently from everyone in the family (her teeth never touch the fingers). We can also take food and toys out of her mouth with no problem. She is already pretty protective of the yard and family but will welcome strangers into the house with no barking of any kind. Currently our neighbors directly behind us have a dog that constantly barks whenever we are in our own yard and Candy will visit at the fence but will not bark back and after the initial visit with the neighbors dog she will ignore the other dog and focus all of her attention on what we are doing. She is house trained and in the time that we have had her she only went twice in the house and i am pretty sure that both times were our fault and both of those times were just peeing, never poop. We have let her out in the front yard with us on numerous occasions and she clearly elects to stay around us and not wonder off too far. She will explore across the street and look into the canyon but she never wonders far and has never ran off. However, if another dog or person approached she would certainly go visit.
